A new bill, the Reproductive Health Care Reform Bill 2019, is set to be introduced to the NSW Parliament with the support of a cross-party working group, including independent MP Alex Greenwich, and has the support of Health Minister, Brad Hazzard.

Members of the Alliance’s management committee - the Women’s Electoral Lobby, Family Planning NSW, Women’s Health NSW and the Human Rights Law Centre - support the Bill in full. The proposed legislation ultimately supports women’s autonomy and control over their own bodies - the key aspect to be addressed when considering abortion decriminalisation.
